His first release of 2026 blends three-step and Afro House into a feel-good celebration of
hope, possibility and big dreams.
South African DJ and producer Gino Brown opens an exciting new chapter with ‘Bout 2be
Amazing, his forthcoming single featuring singer and songwriter RubyGold. Marking his first
release of 2026, the song celebrates the possibilities that come with starting something new.
Whether it is the beginning of a love story, a career opportunity or the anticipation of something
good on the horizon, ‘Bout 2be Amazing captures that moment when uncertainty gives way to
excitement.
At its heart is a simple, uplifting idea: the next chapter could hold something amazing.
A Personal Message of Hope
For Gino Brown, the song’s optimism comes from a personal place. Reflecting on the inspiration
behind the release, he says:
“Hope is a powerful thing.
When everything seems to be falling apart, sometimes the only thing that keeps you
going is hope.
This song is a reflection of the hope that kept me going through moments when
things weren’t looking so good. A reminder to myself, and to anyone who needs to
hear it, to never lose hope. Keep going. Keep believing.
You never know when it’s 'bout to be amazing.”
That message gives the single its emotional foundation, connecting the joy of new beginnings
with the perseverance it sometimes takes to reach them.
A Feel-Good Meeting of Three-Step and Afro House
Blending the rhythmic energy of three-step with Afro House, Gino Brown sets the scene for a
song built around optimism and movement. RubyGold brings her distinctive voice to the
collaboration, giving its message of new beginnings a personal dimension.
The pairing brings together two artists with roots in South African dance music and room to
explore beyond it. Here, their shared focus is on a feeling that travels easily from the dance floor
into everyday life: having something to look forward to.
A Soundtrack for Your Next Chapter
‘Bout 2be Amazing leaves space for listeners to find their own meaning in its message. For
some, it may speak to opening their hearts again. For others, it could be the courage to pursue
a dream, take a chance on an opportunity or welcome change.
That openness sits at the centre of the song. It celebrates both the big moments that alter our
direction and the smaller possibilities that make the future feel brighter.
With its feel-good spirit, the single offers a musical companion to fresh starts and a reminder to
make room for excitement along the way.
