Gospel artist Nozipho Phiri announces the release of her stirring new single, Umsebenzi, a deeply moving declaration of the finished work of Christ and

the redemptive power of Calvary. The single serves as the official lead-up to her debut album, Essence of Faith, a project rooted in her personal journey of faith, spiritual growth and devotion to God’s calling. Umsebenzi proclaims a timeless gospel truth that everything humanity needed was fully accomplished through Jesus Christ at the cross.  When Christ declared, “It is finished,” heaven confirmed that the price had been paid in full. The song calls believers to rest in this completed work to live from a place of gratitude, faith and assurance, knowing that nothing was left undone at Calvary.

The single was birthed from Nozipho’s personal reflections on Christ’s victory. She shares that the message became especially important as she recognised how many believers strive to earn what God has already given through grace. Umsebenzi is a reminder to stop striving in human strength and instead rest in the peace, breakthrough and salvation already secured through Jesus.
